For over 10 years of clinical practice as an independent psychotherapist, I have been helping my clients live happier, symptom-free lives that are aligned with their values and goals. In 2014, I became a clinical supervisor providing clinical supervision to psychotherapists. I have also served as a mental health director for an agency in NYC, and I am a certified field instructor experienced in providing clinical training to graduate student interns.
I bring to my work an inherent respect for each client’s unique experience, going beyond assessing symptoms to considering how the individual client has functioned, and often creatively adapted, to a set of circumstances. I utilize an integrative interpersonal approach to therapy. In our treatment, you will learn techniques to cope and eliminate symptoms, develop self-awareness, and employ new healthier patterns and behaviors.
I communicate openly and directly, and I would describe my therapeutic style as warm, flexible, wholly accepting and a bit playful. I will support you and also gently “challenge” when it’s appropriate. The relationship between therapist and client provides a foundation for growth and healing. I believe all clients have the potential to transform if they have the right support, and when a client and therapist join forces they could be an unstoppable team. Together, we will build a safe, restorative space that fosters your recovery.
I am licensed in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, and I am licensed to practice psychotherapy via telehealth in Florida.
